“A great choice among the many Chicago tours”
Reviewed May 29, 2012
My husband and I went on the History Lover's Tour. For 2 1/2 hours we were entertained by our extremely knowledgeable tour guide. I have been on MANY of the tours offered by various groups in Chicago and I have enjoyed them all, but I have to say that hearing about the history of Chicago while exploring a large part of the Pedway was a unique twist. You can tell that the tour guide loves Chicago history! He kept the information flowing. The tour was mainly inside which is definitely a plus during cold or rainy weather. There were chances to sit along the way and stops outside of the Pedway included the Chicago Cultural Arts Center, Millennium Station and Macys. I highly recommend this tour for anyone that loves Chicago history!

II. “Pedway Lovers Tour” Wed., & Fri. only – 10:00 AM ( Begin Nov. 2 - End May 31, 2013)
- Guests will explore Chicago’s “city within a city” and it’s “Secret Weapon” against the elements. Guests walk nearly 80% of the Pedway that is comprised of tunnels, concourses, skyway bridges, shops, food courts and train stations. This is why we choose to call this one of our “Urban Safaris”.
- Along the way, guests will hear intriguing stories about the Pedway, Chicago Legends & Lore, Chicago Trivia and captivating stories about our city’s past, present & future.

- Learn to navigate the maze of tunnels and corridors of the Pedway following its symbolic “Compass”. While sometimes confusing to navigate, it is this lack of systematic organization that gives The Pedway its charm and provides a sense of adventure to our guests! Learn how to reach new Chicago destinations free of the cold, rain or snow!
- Don you most comfortable walking shoes and dress in layers. While our Pedway tour is a healthy stroll, you need not be a champion athlete to finish. Tours begin November 2.
- Tours begin in the lobby of 111 East Wacker (near Houlihan’s) and end at the Leo Burnett Building located at 35 West Wacker. Memorable stops include; the Hyatt, Swissotel, Aqua Building, Fairmont, Cultural Center-Tiffany Dome, Macy’s Department Store, City Hall, Thompson Center and many others.
- Unfortunately, not wheel chair or stroller friendly
- Tour involves stairs, elevators, escalators, standing and some sitting.
- Cost = $20-adult, $15-seniors, $10 under 12
- Length: 2 and ½ hours and 1 & 1/2 miles

“So Much Fun--You've got to go on One of These Tours!!!”
Reviewed January 22, 2012
I've lived in Chicago all my life, but realized that I knew VERY little about my own home town after taking this tour! Lots of great exercise walking around the City. Our tour guide could not have been more charming or informative teaching us all about "Chicago trivia" and fun facts to know and tell. He even offered prizes for the "winner" to a Q&A Chicago trivia contest. It was a really fun afternoon and was delightful walking through the tunnels underground, and emerging periodically "above ground" to see and learn about the many beautiful and interesting buildings we have here in our own backyard! I plan to partake in other tours in the future e.g., The Chicago World's Fair Tour in May and the Holiday Lights Tour next Christmas. This was money well spent--we had a ball! You will too!

A Must in Chicago”
Reviewed May 22, 2012
My best friend and I go to Chicago every year and happened upon this "tour". It was more like getting together with friends and going to some amazing locations in the city that we had never been before. Our tour guide was awesome - love the trivia and his enthusiasm! The drinks were all great, the locations were fantastic and the people were wonderful. This is not your standard "tour" - it's a 2.5 hour experience with cocktails, laughter and even some education! Whether you live in Chicago or are a visitor, this is the best way to get your party started! Thanks you!

“Great Tour for All!”
Reviewed July 21, 2012
My husband and I took this tour with my sister, my parents and our 16-year-old son ... quite a mix of ages and EVERY ONE of us really enjoyed this tour. Our tour guide was a fantastic tour guide ... one of his sayings is, "every building has a story" and he really proves that on his tours! We are all from the Chicago suburbs and still learned A LOT on our Riverwalk Brunch Tour. He was a very entertaining speaker and shares so much about Chicago history ... a fantastic tour! The brunch at Houlihan's was quite nice and comes about half way through the tour. We also did the Holiday Trolley Lights Tour back in December and really enjoyed that option as well ... Our guide’s enthusiasm for Chicago is contagious!
